There is at least one more serious issue with LLM generated code and the companies behind them.

All these companies have EULAs and T&Cs. I guess no one has read them through and thought about the potential consequences?

These documents usually state that the LLM company can do pretty much _anything_ with what you _upload_ and _generate_. These companies assert an extremely broad set of rights, whether appropriate or not, and may insert themselves directly or indirectly into a project in one or another way without ever having lifted a finger.

Note that LLM companies inserting themselves into a project can manifest itself by, for example, using your project in ads or other commercial exploitation. Generally, this does not benefits your project. It only benefits the LLM companies and their bottom line.

I am not saying they will, but playing devil's advocate can prevent disaster. If you use these companies, then you may already have given them the keys to your project. That is not a situation you want to be in because it will *always* bite you in the end.
