Hello again, I am not familiar with IEC 27, but ISO 3864 is a document referred to in EN60950 that refers to descriptions of the use of color for labels and signs. It details descriptions of color and shape and provides some fine examples. Red, yellow, green and blue are designated as safety colors, each with a specific meaning:
Red/White - Stop or prohibition function Yellow/Black - Caution or risk of danger Green/White - Safe condition Blue/White - mandatory action So, it appears that which you were told is correct. For "caution/hazard/danger" yellow is needed, not red. Comments? As always, my thoughts are from my brain only. Best regards, Ron Pickard [email protected]
