Good Folk.

We manufacture, amongst many things, X-Ray surface analysis
equipment.

One of the X-Ray sources we make runs at 30kV, which
brings us into the scope of the 96/29/Euratom Directive of June this
year. (>5kV).

This directive is primarily concerned with Radioactive substances,
isotopes etc, indeed it has about 90 pages of half life tables.

My question to the group is:
Are there any Standards, Codes of Practice, Directives, Regulations,
etc. etc. which relate to Ionizing Radiation when sourced from
Bremsstrahlung effects (braking radiation) as arises from electron
beam work, for instance, as opposed to radiation from radioactive
material.

I think that makes sense.
