I disagree with Richard's statement that IEC 601 can be included in the list, mainly because the concept of SELV is not applicable for medical equipment. Hazardous or even fatal leakage currents can be caused by very low voltages when in contact with the body, particularly with internal body parts, e.g. via endoscopes, intracardiac probes, etc. The isolation concepts used in IEC 950, IEC 1010 and IEC 65 are sufficiently different from those required for medical equipment to make a unified standard not feasible in this case.
