Believe it or not, Eric, there are some 30 V rated cables. They're usually better insulated than that, IMHO, but, the surface markings say 30 V. Usually some kind of data cable.

The National Electrical Code is a good source . If you were looking for communications applications , Article 800 of the NEC is what you want.
