emc-pstc folks: According to my records this marking requirement took effect April 1, 1995 with publication of ICES-003 Issue 2, Revision 1. Actually it is two sentences, one in English and one in French. (Or is it the same sentence in two languages?)
You can ask for your own copy of the standard from the Publications Dept. of Industry Canada at 1-613-990-4761 . Their FAX number is 1-613-952-5108 . There was no charge when I got it. Very nice touch, I thought. We have been putting the statements on our labels for the last year (for products where it is applicable). The tricky part is getting the little diacritical marks over some of the letters in the French sentence.
