The Blue Angel scheme is represented by a German organization called RAL. The Blue Angel is an eco label (efficient use of energy, reduce emissions of radiatively active trace gases or help to conserve resources). The label is composed of a blue figure with outstretched arms surrounded by a blue ring with a laurel wreath. The eco-labelling program was created in 1977 to promote environmentally-sound products. The program has a lot of listed products.
