Moshe, I cannot answer your core question. However, I can comment on the reference to "TUV" requirements. The German Workplace Law includes some rigid ergonomic standards relative to colors of workstation components, reflectivity (glare), height of keyboards, etc. When we obtained TUV certificates for our typewriter models years ago, we included ZH1/618 which was (is) the German ergonomic standard. Other than this, I am not aware of any single significant European ergonomic "standard" that is mandatory. But I was wrong once before in my life (April fool's joke).
