Ah yes, Larry, you'll find that Defence Standard 59-41 will really ring
your bell.
Def Stan 59-41 is published by the British Ministry of Defence. My copy
is dated circa 30 Sep 1994, so there may be later revisions. This is a fun
document, with multiple parts, supplements and issues.
Fortunately, the coverage is similar to the US Mil-Std-461D / 462D.
There's a few quirky differences, but the doc basically functions as a general
purpose qualification test standard for British military procurements.
