In my opinion the generic standard EN 55011 for scientific equipment is
the correct one (emissions).Right the generic standard for for immunity
EN 50082-1 (not the EN 50082-2 for industrial environment!) but
attention to the EN 50104 immunity standard (if it's used in domestic
environment).
The choice between class A or B depends from the power cord termination
(fixed installation=class A or removable-type cable=class B) to the
public line.
