There exists a nice guidance from EPSAM (European Power Supply
Manufacturer Association) about Harmonics requirements. (sorry, it's
only in German language so far):
EN60601 does not include harmonics requirements.
There are discussion , if harmonics requirements might be
implemented for medical for home therapie and non hospiatl use. But
this might take a long time in Europe....

My copy of IEC601-1-2 (Medical EMC compatibility, First edition) says
there are no requirements for harmonic distortion (paragraph 36.201.2.1).
Is this still correct today? Are there plans to incorporate this
requirement in the future?
