Sorry, perhaps I should have been more specific. It appears that this 3-year period will be a period of transition, whereby you could use the current applicable standards or EN61326. Of course, it would be prudent to begin testing to 61326 as soon as possible.
Since my last post, I have received further correspondence regarding the date of publication, which now appears will be on 12/97, with the period of transition extending to 12/31/00.
