To All, We also find the translations onerous. Last month it consumed over 10% of our engineering budget. And we only translate 5 languages besides English. We started out doing 4 translations and added the 5th based on customer requests.
We sell everywhere and so far, have not had any other requests for languages we are not presently translating. We offer these and let the customer choose which one they want. Business today is fraught with probabilities, liabilities and risks. In the end we all must make decisions based on these points. The letter of the law says one thing, the spirit and intent mean another, and we all make our choices as to the best way to maximize profits and minimize the risks involved.
