It is not clear why you claim that this is an accessory to your
ITEq unless it is connected directly to it in some way. If it is not
physically connected it could be considered a small electrical appliance
under EN 60335 or perhaps a small electronic appliance under EN 60065. Why
not get your supplier to provide the unit with a Euro Lab certification
mark plus thier own CE marking which will then include the EMC evaluation
also. It would be proper for you to request copies of all their reports
claiming compliance to requirements - which you would keep in you own
technical file...
