Hi group,

There is a paragraph of "6 Performance criteria" on Page 5 of EN
50082. It describes Performance criterion A, B and C.

On the other hand, there is a paragraph of "9 Test results and test
report" in 1000-4-2, 1000-4-3, 1000-4-4, 1000-4-5, 1000-4-6 and so on. It
asks us to classify the test results in four classes: a), b), c) and d).

The above A, B and C overlap what a), b), c) and d) are covering.
Unfortunately, they are not totally consistent. You can find a part of b):
"temporary ... loss of function ... self-recoverable" in 1000-4 series is
the same as a part of Performance criterion C: "Temporary loss of function
... self-recoverable" in EN 50082-1. As you all know, EN 50082-1 calls for
1000-4 series as basic standards.

What do think of the inconsistency?

Thank you.
Best Regards,
Barry Ma
