All,
I am having difficulty finding Reed Switch manufacturers that have a
European Safety certification. ( TUV, VDE, etc. )
Most manufacturers have a UL and CSA certification with a 100k cycle
testing time.
The application I have for this switch is to provide interlock
protection to a hazardous area.
Has anyone had any experience getting UL certification (3101) using
Reed Switches without an European cert.????
Are you aware of any reason's the European agencies do not certify
these components ?
