There seems to be efforts within the PC industry to promote PC' s with low power consumption whilst in a "standby" state.
Is anyone aware of :- a) where this rumour began b) in which countries is this / could this become a mandatory requirement ? c) any standard(s) which exist in respect to this requirement ? d) specified timescales ?
