The IEEE EMC Society has published a call for papers for 
the IEEE 1999 International Symposium on Electromagnetic
Compatibility.  The following details are taken from the
call for papers.  I received the notice this past week.
The EMC Society gives just 3 weeks do submit an abstract!

The Symposium dates and location:

    August 2-9, 1999
    Seattle, Washington, USA

Paper formats
- A formal 20-minute presentation with 6 pages in the symposium record.
- A formal 10-minute presentation with 3 pages in the symposium record.
- A poster paper with up to 6 pages in the symposium record.

Authors schedule
- Abstract (50-100 words), and                         October 19, 1998
- Summary (500-700 words) with up to 5 illustrations:  October 19, 1998
  (3 copies each of abstract and summary)
- Notification of acceptance:                          January 04, 1999
- Camera-ready copy:                                   March   08, 1999

Summary outlines the paper contributions, originality, and relevance 
to an area of EMC.  Indicate the desired format and technical area by
one of the above numbers.

Poster papers will be displayed for four hours with the author present
for informal presentations and to answer questions.

Send three copies of abstract and summary to:

Submissions must be received by Monday, October 19, 1998.  Late 
submissions will not be considered.  FAX and e-mail submittals cannot
be accepted.
