Dear Bill and Doug,

If I recall, Olflex is the only manufacturer that I am familiar with that 
has European and North American Approcals. However, if your 
primary wiring/cabling is within the equipment and not subject to 
abuse, it is OK even for CE Approvals to use North American 
Approved wires. Most of the equipment which our lab tests for TUV 
utilize North American Listed/Recognized cabling. For ITE make 
sure it is one of these types: PVC, TFE, PTFE, FEP or 
NEOPRENE.

The only time you really need HAR Harmonized cord is for the 
mains (hazardous voltage primary) power supply cord or for an 
interconnecting mains power cord or cable between units in a 
system.
