Jim: Thanks for the tip. This is exactly the kind of book we need around here.
I called the IEEE Customer Service people (1-800-701-4333), and have ordered a copy of the "IEC Multilingual Dictionary" (of technical terms). It's their publication # SH15156, costs $185.00US (plus S+H, GST, etc), and can be paid for by credit card over the phone, by mailed cheque, or by fax'd P.O. (if you have a credit approval with the IEEE, in which case they will ask for your Customer Number). The order goes to the Order Processing Department, who can be reached by fax at (732) 981-9667. Now you can get another copy for yourself, until the next time someone decides they need it more than you do!
