A little bit late, but ...

In 'Power Quality Assurance' magazine for July/August 1998, there's an article
concerning harmonic distortion & ways to minimize it.  It also mentions active
PFC (without giving much information on it).

The article was written by Mark McGranaghan of Electrotek Concepts Inc.  No
email address was given, although they have a web site at
http://www.electrotek.com/
