Richard,

According to the scope of these specifications the following applies,

The standards do not apply to
Consumer apparatus
Apparatus specifically designed for security systems
Apparatus designed to intentionally radiate electromagnetic energy

Additionally, Section 4 (Definitions) states that professional apparatus
is for use in trades, professions or industries and which is not
intended for sale to the general public. This section also goes on to
define professional digital apparatus and professional entertainment
lighting control apparatus. The electromagnetic environment is also
defined and it's up to yourself to decide which on the 5 environments
detailed that you use. They are,

E1 Residential
E2 Commercial in light industrial (includes theatres)
E3 Urban outdoors
E4 Controlled EMC environment (broadcast/recording studios) and the
rural outdoors environment
E5 Heavy Industrial (EN 50081-2 and 50082-2)

If the audio paging and intercom is on a wire only basis (i.e. no RF
transmissions etc) then I would take a guess at the generic
specifications (50081-1, 50082-1).

If you would like more information please contact me. (I have used the 2
specs several times now with no major hiccups materialising)
Kind regards Paul Smith
