According to their titles, these product family standards, which take effect
9-1999, apply to emissions (-1) and immunity (-2) of "audio, video,
audiovisual and entertainment lighting control apparatus for professional
use".

It is unclear to me what the word "professional" means in the context of
these standards. Obviously, the standards to not apply to equipment for home
use. I can understand that they may apply to equipment used by professional
photographers, video operators, sound mixers, lighting technicians in
theaters and entertainment groups such as rock bands. But, do they apply to
equipment operated by "normal employees" in a retail, office or light
industrial environment? Application examples would include CCTV, audio
paging, and intercom equipment. Note that CCTV equipment for security
applications is covered by EN 50130-4:1995.

Can someone expand on what "professional" covers?
