Is 40 ohms sufficient? Is this recommended strictly for  RF or for safety
with a Tempest isolated chamber?  What is the leakage current of typical
chamber filters?  Of course it will vary depending on whether one has  20 A
filters or  100 A filters and the quantity of filters energized at one time.


I do not know if our situation is typical -- our chamber has 3 A of leakage.
It provided a 30 V potential to the service entrance ground.  We do
commercial level testing (Tempest was not required) so we compromised the
isolation to provide a solid safety ground.  I did not care for the
"surprises" provided by the elevated potential on the chamber skin "ground".


This is more of a question than an answer.  I am curious as to what is
typical in leakage current in the EMC community.  Then you can draw your own
conclusion as to what impedance is sufficient.
