Dwight, Educated Design & Development has all of the probes. Their impact ball is also $150.00, does sound kind of high. From their description it is a little more than a ball bearing. They say it is 50mm diameter and 500g, which is what the standard requires. They say it is hardened steel with a chrome finish and has a removable eyelet to allow for drop or pendulum use. It is part #ITB-01.
The Test Pin (fig. 20) is part #TPP-01 and its price is $120.00. They indicate that the body is Delrin and the tip is stainless steel. The catalog also includes this note-Don't ever purchase an all plastic version-the tip is too narrow to maintain tip rigidity. The Telecom Test Probe (fig. 16) is part #TTP-01 and its price is $190.00. They indicate that the handle and stop face are Delrin, and the tip is stainless steel.
