The "metric" table that Anton provided seems to say that trade size ½ inch is the same as 16 mm. However, the OD of trade size ½ inch is 20.7 mm, but EN 60950 says the OD of 16 mm conduit is 16 mm. Obviously, something does not compute. I hope its not me.
