Group,

Any experience with UL1950 4.4.6 (Fire Enclosure Construction) "For Central
Office, RBOC's, Telecom equipment"

" Stationary equipment intended for use in a Restricted Access Location and
to be mounted on concrete floor or other noncombustible surface need not be
provided with a bottom enclosure if marked "Suitable for mounting on
concrete or other noncombustible surfaces only."

Has anyone used this clause to avoid designing a bottom enclosure?

Could doing this cause any Bellcore / NEB issues?

Please let me know if you've had any negative feedback (national codes,
customer requirements etc.) by doing this.

Thanks,

Jeff Collins
