Although the equipment my employer produces does not fall under the
scope of the Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment
Directive,
many of the commercial components we integrate into our product do
fall
under the scope.
With regard to these components, does anyone have an idea (and
reference) of what our responsibilities might be if the WEEED were
approved in its present (third) draft form?
That is to ask, do we need put systems in place per WEEED for the
integrated components?
