DESCRIPTION: EMI/EMC Jr. ENGINEER
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is an engineering position that will work within the
Work Group Server Division of Sun Microsystems to support EMI/EMC
Engineers in testing and setup of systems and products for testing.
Ability to set up equipment for testing, as required to test to
International and domestic standard to meet these standards for
systems.
Limited testing of systems to perform EMI/EMC scans and results.
Provide support to engineers in setup, test and
collection/interpretation of data
REQUIREMENTS:
This individual should have a minimum of a BSEE with approximately 2+
years experience in the EMI/EMC field.
Familiarity with domestic and international EMI/EMC directives.
Provide ongoing support in testing various system configurations.
VERY DESIRABLE
Be able to interpret test results and make minor recommendations and
provide solutions.
Provide feedback to various design groups with resolutions.
Work with a minimum amount of supervision.
Product safety/EMI/EMC requirements relating to the power supply and
their system applications.
