Carlos, the answer to your first question is no. You will need to get approval for your products in Mexico. Their specifications are IEC derived in most cases. You will need to obtan national approval through a Mexican agency or the Mexican office of a Certifying organization such as UL, TUV etc. More details can be found at various sites in Mexico.
