Compaq Computer Corp in Houston Texas is looking for a product safety engineer to support a broad range of information technology products from handheld products to rack systems. Candidates should have BSEE or equivalent technical degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience working in the ITE product safety field (IEC950) as a product manufacturer, or product safety certification laboratory.
Candidates should also have strong communication skills, working knowledge of IEC950-based product safety standards, program management skills and be able to work both independently and as part of team.
