To all, I have just heard that by 6/99 the BCIQ will be departing from requiring EMC testing only at approved labs to accepting test data from labs in countries where an MRA exists. These labs must have NVLAP or similar accreditations. I have also heard that a US-Taiwan MRA is now in place. Barbara Judge, Compliance Certification Services, in her 1/11/99 posting provided some details to this issue. I wanted to follow up on this issue with this new information.
