John:

That cutting edge technology will break your heart every time. I use IFI field
sensors, which also use a fiberoptic link back to an indicator or controller.
However, I don't think this technology has changed in over 20 years!

The fiber is a hefty 1/10" diameter, and takes lots of abuse. The connectors
are super crude; the fiber is just pushed into a male RCA Phono plug deep
enough for the fiber to stick out of the center pin. Strain relief is provided
by squashing the plug's ground lug around the fiber's jacket.

If this kind of cable sounds like you can use it with the Holladay equipment,
then see IFI (Instrumnets For Industry), http://www.ifi.com.

Regards,

Ed
