In my past life in a compliance laboratory I used an unlined shielded
chamber with great repeatability
daily for three years. Room resonance can be predicted by a skilled
operator. I found fewer signals were lost
compared to a anechoic chamber. The important thing is to have an operator
who is very
familiar with the room. Setting up the gear in the same location in the
room also helped.
The rooms were also used for engineering midigation.
The OATS is always your final answer.
