Hi again: In the course of a design review the option of invoking a D3 deviation came up. Since we usually ship to the EU I have never allowed D3 deviations.
The question came to mind that I thought the D3 deviations expired this year. Is this a foggy memory from UL 1950 2nd edition 1993 Supplement C expiring March 15, 2000? I tried to see an expiration reference in the 3rd edition but couldn't find it. Does this then amount to a `National Difference' or am I missing something in my searching of the Third edition?
