Hello all,
I'm trying to determine if my company's product, a point
of sale terminal falls under the Class D category in the soon to be in place
standard EN61000-3-2 (prA14). What is the definition of a personal computer
used in the EN61000-3-2:1995/prA14:2000 document? Is the use of the term
personal computer an exact description or is it being used to describe a
overall class of equipment (i.e. : anything with a microprocessor or such)?
Is there a standard which contains these precise definitions and what is it?
I hope someone can help because I have been going round in circles as I can
see it applying both ways.
