A good source for power cord information is Panel Components.
http://www.panelcomponents.com/guide.htm According to Panel Components, Laos has some CEE 7/16 Europlug outlets, but they predominantly use North American NEMA 1-15 and 5-15 style outlets. However, the power in Laos is 220 V, 50 Hz. This does create a risk that 110 V equipment could be plugged into the 220 V outlets. If you ship any equipment over to Laos, make sure that you know what voltage it will be used at. It appears Laos uses U.S. style power cords. Can anyone confirm this?
