A good source for power cord information is Panel Components.

http://www.panelcomponents.com/guide.htm

According to Panel Components, Laos has some CEE 7/16 Europlug outlets, but
they predominantly use North American NEMA 1-15 and 5-15 style outlets.
However, the power in Laos is 220 V, 50 Hz. This does create a risk that
110 V equipment could be plugged into the 220 V outlets. If you ship any
equipment over to Laos, make sure that you know what voltage it will be
used at.

Subject: Laotian power cords?

It appears Laos uses U.S. style power cords. Can anyone confirm this?
