Hi Paul

Part 20.3.1 of UL6500 states "Materials shall have properties as shown in
Table VIII."

Table VIII gives a list of specific parts (items 1 - 10) and then item 11)
gives a minimum requirement of "Materials used in applications other than
those specified in items 1 - 10" as 94HB.

There is an exemption for small parts though.  20.3.2 states "Small parts.
The flammability and other requirements in Table VIII do not apply to small
parts.  For the purpose of these requirements, a small part is defined as
one that complies with each of the following items:  a)  Its volume does not
exceed 4 cubic centimetres  b)  Its maximum dimension does not exceed 6
centimetres  c)  Its location is such that it is not capable of propagating
flame from one area to another or acting as a bridge between a possible
source of ignition and other ignitable parts.
