I read in !emc-pstc that [email protected] wrote (in <LFENJLPMMJB [email protected]>) about 'Smarthouse products and Conducted emission', on Wed, 28 Nov 2001: >1. Intentional emissions are exempt from the EMC requirements. But there IS a problem in this area, which is being studied intensively in CISPR and IEC TC77. > >2. These smarthouse products, do they fall into EN55022 ? Some said >EN55014, but is this type of equipment classified as "household appliances" >? PLC systems have their OWN EMC standards. -- Regards, John Woodgate, OOO - Own Opinions Only. http://www.jmwa.demon.co.uk After swimming across the Hellespont, I felt like a Hero. ------------------------------------------- This message is from the IEEE EMC Society Product Safety Technical Committee emc-pstc discussion list.
