Sorry to hear about CDI going down.

If CDI can't arrange for a transfer of their assets to another company, I
would hope that they would make their manuals, schematics, parts lists and
calibration/repair procedures available on a web site. Loyal customers
shouldn't get stuck with orphaned equipment that has no hope of being
repaired, especially because of lack of documentation or explanation of
proprietary components.

If you really get desperate, you might consider getting some X-ray views of
that plug-in. And, if it's a total loss already, last resort is to try
dissolving the epoxy potting. That's slow, messy and often destructive of
components, but, as a last resort.....
