Peter,
I share(d?) your frustration. The website was fairly ambiguous when I
was initially looking for info.

Might I suggest asking your Australian agent if you have one already.
The agent that I contacted was really up to date on which standards
applied and when the new standards would take effect (including several
that I had no idea were in the works). As I haven't actually signed a
contract with him, I would feel strange asking him that question for
you, but the principle should still apply. Who better to ask than a
person who's job it is to know?

Alternatively, find an agent and ask him. I assume you are planning to
ship to Australia so you will need an agent eventually. What better way
to start the process & screen potential agents? If he's up to date on
the standards, I would think he would be a good person to have
representing your company.

Best Regards, (and apologies for no specific answers)
Dave Heald
