Hi all,

Take a look on the standards below. It seems that they cover the same technical
EMC issues. Am I right and if so, why these two standards ?

EN 301 489-01: V1.2.1 (07-2000)
Electromagnetic compatibility and Radio spectrum Matters (ERM); ElectroMagnetic
Compatibility (EMC) standard for radio equipment and services; Part 1: Common
technical requirements

EN 300 339:1998 (05-1998)
Electromagnetic compatibility and radio spectrum (ERM); General electromagnetic
compatibility (EMC) for radio communications equipment

Best regards
Amund Westin, Oslo/Norway
