I have missed this discussion, but I recall a history about an immunity test of 
Headset a few years ago. The lab did not have any kind of equipment to 
measure/monitor/verify the performance of the headset. The 1kHz modulation 
signal was obviously disturbing the headset, but how much?
Well, they placed one of the test lab staff (probably one of the juniors...) 
inside the shield room, had a link by wire out of the room and communicating 
with his colleagues during the test, while the RF test was running with a field 
strength of 3V/m in the frequency range 80-1000MHz. In some parts of the range 
the 1kHz signal was completely disturbing the communication, and therefore the 
accept criteria was not met...

This is maybe not a route to follow...
