Suzanne,

Your best bet is to use components that have been previously evaluated for
field wiring, such as a UL Recognized terminal block for the + and - and a
UL Listed pressure terminal connector for the protective earthing terminal;
of course both have to be suitable for the 100 A  and the wire gauge
anticipated in the field.  This way, you satisfy the North American
component requirements and because there is no limit in the standard for a
100 A rating, most European and other worldwide test houses are likely to
accept the US evaluated component.

I'm in the process of specifying field wiring terminals for a -48Vdc
product
that's rated 100A.  Table 3E in 60950 only specifies sizes up to 63 A. 
Does
anyone know how I go about sizing a terminal for the higher current?
