Hi Monty! Here comes the short version of the vibration test spec EN60945:1997. >From 2 to 5 Hz and up to 13,2Hz with displacement of +-1mm, 13,2 to 100Hz acceleration of 0.7g
You have to make a resonance search. If Q>5 do the endurance test at each resonace frequencies with a duration of 2 hours. If Q<5 make an endurance test at a single observed frequency. If no resonace, endurance at 30Hz 2 hours. Vibration test apply to all equipment categories. Read the whole spec before you start testing, a lot of other things to be aware of..... Is EN60945 = MIL-STD 1399 ??? I do not know .....
