Vijay,
The basic requirements for components inside of a fire enclosure are in
section 4.7.3.4 and table 4C essentially it requires for V-2 material - there
are exceptions, small components etc, and you can always test, but read that
section and you'll get a pretty clear idea. The tests for determining the
flammability rating are in appendix A

Subject: UL 60950 - safety related question
hello Group:
i have 8 LCD displays inside a box. if there is an outer metal enclosure,
does internal enclosure (which is plastic at each LCD display) need to be
V-0, does it need an RTI above the operation temperature? where should i
find guideline about V-0 and RTI requirements for particular equipment?
i would appreciate any response.
thank you in advance.
