Vijay, 1. Remove all LCDs. You are left with rectangular openings. 2. Evaluate if you meet the fire enclosure requirements with LCDs removed. 3. If you meet the fire enclosure requirements with LCDs removed, I would say that the LCDs, other than their intent to display, are serving to protect a user to reach within the enclosure and access hazardous voltage and/or energy parts and/or mechanical moving parts. In this case, the LCDs are part of the electrical/mechanical enclosure and may be rated FLAMMABILITY CLASS HB or better. 4. Regarding RTI, a Heating Test is conducted under normal operating conditions. The RTI of the particular plastic should not be exceed during this test taking into account the maximum specified operating ambient temperature (Tmra) assigned to the equipment. For equipment rated Tmra 50 deg C, and a polymeric part RTI rated 80 deg C, the maximum temperature rise allowed during the Heating Test is 80-50 = 30 degC.
