Can't even imagine how they could possibly enforce that. All they
can do is stop things at the boarder if it doesn't comply. Since your
Non-Certified equipment won't be at their boarders how could they have any
influence on those products. It might make your paperwork a bit messy and a
headache if you have lots of products that you wish to sort through, so you
wouldn't be able to use model masks very well E.G. GR-450XX, where X is some
sort of configuration item - like the language that pops up on LCD's or the
product marking.
This is an opinion mind you. I have Korean products but they only
know of a sub-set of families - not all families.
