The prosecutions were for a little more than just CE + CE + CE. In the first case heard the company pleaded guilty but their defence lawyer claimed CE + CE = CE as mitigation. However, not all the sub assemblies were CE marked! In the second case, the manufacturer didn't even bother to produce a DoC.
