Dear all:

For a monitor, there are many displaying modes. The related factors are
resolutions (640x350, 640x400, 720x400, 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1152x864,
1280x960,......), refresh rate(56Hz, 60Hz, 72Hz, 75Hz, 85Hz).

If a monitor has most of the displaying modes, how can I find the worst case
while performing the EMI measurement ( both radiated & conducted emission test)
in the shortest period of time during preliminary test stage. Is it like what
mentioned in ANSI C63.4 about the radiated emission for intentional radiator
above 1GHz to measure lowest , middle, and highest frequency? What I mean is
that can I reduce the procedure in finding the worst case to maybe some typical
representive modes( Maybe selecting the resolution to be lowest, middle, and
highest separately, and then different refresh rate, etc).

Can anyone tell me about how to find the worst case for a monitor with various
displaying modes during EMI tests?

Thanks!!!
